# Chandra头条 - https://chandra.si.edu/photo/2021/gcenter/ - **Galactic Center: Magnetized Threads Weave Spectacular Galactic Tapestry** - author: Daniel Wang # 2105.13999 - https://arxiv.org/abs/2105.13999 - **The Cosmic Large-Scale Structure in X-rays (CLASSIX) Cluster Survey II: Unveiling a pancake structure with a 100 Mpc radius in the local Universe** - The authors use CLASSIX survey of X-ray luminous galaxy clusters detected in the ROSAT All Sky Survey to study the matter distribution in the local universe and the density structure of Local Superclusters, which is almost perpendicular to the Galactic plane. They find a significant overdensity of clusters in a flattened structure along the Supergalactic plane within 50 Mpc and extended to 100 Mpc radius. They concentrat mostly in two superclusters. The authors also find that the Local Supercluster is not overdense with respect to the cosmic mean density, indicating a fragment future rather than collapsing as a whole. - - by **方正** # 2105.14031 - https://arxiv.org/abs/2105.14031 - **Where Do Obscured AGN Fit in A Galaxy's Timeline?** - The authors examine the X-ray undetected AGNs in the COSMOS field and compare their host galaxies with X-ray bright AGNs. - They stack Chandra X-ray data of galaxies with an IR detection but lacking an X-ray detection. They find a clear correlation between X-ray luminosity and IR AGN luminosity in the stacked galaxies. - They also find that X-ray undetected AGNs all lie on the main sequence – the tight correlation between SFR and M∗ that holds for the majority of galaxies, regardless of mass or redshift. - by: **黄健** # 2106.00700 - https://arxiv.org/abs/2106.00700 - **A kinematic study of central compact objects and their host supernova remnants** - Central compact objects (CCOs) are a peculiar class of neutron stars, primarily encountered close to the center of young supernova remnants (SNRs) and characterized by thermal X-ray emission. Measurements of their proper motion and the expansion of the parent SNR are powerful tools for constraining explosion kinematics and the age of the system. - This is basically an observational analysis paper. It takes some efforts to analyze all theses SNRs and CCO. The results are quite straightforward: a tight upper limit (<230 km/s) of CCOs' transverse velocity. - by **周平**
