Correlations between the scattering fraction and the column density as well as the ratio of [OIII] λ5007 to X-ray luminosity are found. The authors use the XCLUMPY model to construct a realistic model of emission line profile from AGN torus. Applying this model to the 3-100 keV spectra of Circinus galaxy observed by Suzaku, XMM, NuSTAR and Chandra, they found the torus of this AGN has the following geometry: inclination angle ~ 78 deg, angular width ~ 10.3 deg, Z ~ 1.5 Z\_sun, R\_in ~ 0.016 pc which is 3 times smaller than expected from dust sublimation. A candidate pulsation of 2.52 Hz and associated Pdot about 3.5x10^(-8) are detected by using XMM Newton observations. A joint X-ray, weak-lensing and optical study has been carried out and three arc-like excess pattern are found. One of them locates close to the subcluster has a cold front feature. The authors find that the bright flares have a higher occurrences in the post-eclipse phase and they argue that variable obscuration can be the reason of the unusually strong variability. - by **华子乾** # 2103.13374 - https://arxiv.org/abs/2103.13374 - **Photoionisation Modelling of the X-ray Emission Line Regions within the Seyfert 2 AGN NGC 1068** - The authors compare the XMM-Newton PN/RGS spectra of Type 2 AGN NGC 1068 between 2000 and 2014. After photoionization modelling, they found almost no change in the ionization parameter between the two epoches, suggesting that the emission line regions are fairly static or lack of BH variability over 14-year scale. - They also found that the highest ionization state plasmas are thermally unstable and much more closer to the central BH. - The majority of the emission lines are explained by photoionized plasma.
