# 2104.03492 - https://arxiv.org/abs/2104.03492 - **Enhanced X-ray Emission Coinciding with Giant Radio Pulses from the Crab Pulsar** - mentioned by **陈阳** # 2104.03993 - https://arxiv.org/abs/2104.03993 - **An H$\alpha$/X-ray orphan cloud as a signpost of the intracluster medium clumping** - by **侯美存** # 2104.06073 - https://arxiv.org/abs/2104.06073 - **INTEGRAL serendipitous observations of solar and terrestrial X-rays and gamma rays** - Although INTEGRAL didn't aim to observe earth X-ray emission, several earth occultation observations detected strong X-ray aurorae. Meanwhile, outside the foV of the main instruments, the most intense solar flares can be detected. This paper present the image and spectrum of the X-ray aurorae, which originates from solar high-energy particles strike earth magnetosphere. The analysis of gamma-ray emission line of solar flares tells the dynamic behaviour of materials as well as the abundance of solar 3He. - by **胡祯崧** # 2104.06195 - https://arxiv.org/abs/2104.06195 - **Hard X-ray emission from a Compton scattering corona in large black hole mass TDEs** - Not all X-ray bright TDEs are dominated by thermal emission from the accretion disk. The authors apply the relativistic TDE thin disc model and assume that the TDE discs undergo state transition into hard state around eddington ratio~0.01 similar to XRB. The model predicts that when BH mass is larger than ~2e+7 M_sun would be dominated by hard X-ray emission from Compton upscatering. The authors check 18 observed X-ray bright TDE (11 thermal and 7 non-thermal) and they do fall into two distinct mass population. - - by **施方正** # 2104.07677 - https://arxiv.org/abs/2104.07677 - **Raining in MKW 3s: a Chandra-MUSE analysis of X-ray cold filaments around 3CR 318.1** - The authors combine X-ray data from Chandra (which traces the hotter highly ionzed gas phase) and optical observations from VLT/MUSE (colder gas phase) to analyze the gas filaments of 3CR 318.1, the Brightest Cluster Galaxy of cool core cluster MKW 3s. They found a spatial association between the X-ray and optical morphology of these filaments. They propose that the excitation process of these filaments are a combination of star formation and shocks, with a likely contribution from self-ionizing cooling ICM. The filaments most likely originated from AGN-driven outflows in the direction of radio jets. - by **施方正** # 2104.08479 - https://arxiv.org/abs/2104.08479 - **Study on the energy limits of kHz QPOs in Sco X-1 with $RXTE$ and $Insight$-HXMT observations** - The twin kHz QPOs with two peaks of 820-1150 Hz and 540-860 Hz has long been discovered in Sco X-1. With the data of RXTE and HXMT, this paper present a spectral-timing analysis and firstly determines its energy dependence. The kHz QPO becomes no detectable below 6 keV, indicating the QPOs could not origin from black body emission of accretion disk and neutron star surface. - by **鲍通** # 2104.09533 - https://arxiv.org/abs/2104.09533 - **Time Domain Astronomy with the THESEUS Satellite** - THESEUS (Transient High Energy Sky and Early Universe Surveyor) is an ESA medium size space emission scheduled in 2032. It consists of three instruments: 1. SXI (Soft X-ray Imager), a lobster-eye X-ray telescope @ 0.3-5 keV, foV 31 x 61 deg^2, resolution ~6' 2. XGIS (X and Gamma Imager and Spectrometer), an imaging gamma-ray spectrometer @ 2-150 keV 3. IRT (Infrared Telescope), a near infrared telescope @ 0.7-1.8 um. The main scientific goal is to study GRB, what's more, to act as a counterpart for GW and neutrino detections. - by **胡祯崧** # 2104.09646 - https://arxiv.org/abs/2104.09646 - **Using Chandra Localizations and Gaia Distances and Proper Motions to Classify Hard X-ray Sources Discovered by INTEGRAL** - mentioned by **李志远** # 2104.10512 - https://arxiv.org/abs/2104.10512 - **Failed Supernova Remnants** - In a failed supernova, partial ejection of the progenitor’s outer envelope can occur due to weak- ening of the core’s gravity by neutrino emission in the protoneutron star phase. They focus on failed explosions of blue supergiants, and find that the emission can be bright in soft X-rays. Due to its soft emission, they find that sources in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) are more promising to detect than those in the Galactic disk. These remnants are characteristic in smallness (<10 pc) and slowness (100s of km/s) compared to typical SNRs. Although the expected number of detectable sources is small (up to a few by eROSITA 4-year all-sky survey), prospects are better for deeper surveys targeting the LMC. Detection of these “failed SNRs” will realize observational studies of mass ejection upon black hole formation. - by **张孟飞** # 2101.10741 - https://arxiv.org/abs/2101.10741 - **A Supernova-driven, Magnetically-collimated Outflow as the Origin of the Galactic Center Radio Bubbles** - author: **张孟飞**
